Play with Other Kids

"Children learn as they play. More importantly, in play, children learn to learn." (O. Fred Donaldson)

This quote cannot stress enough the importance of play especially the kind of play where there are other kids involved. They learn how to socialize and how to adapt to different personalities of other children, They also learn how to use their imagination.

In Oman, my kids do not have a lot of friends because there are not too many kids. However, whenever they meet with the kids of other OFWs here, they really enjoy their time playing.

Kids' Travels Around Oman

"The world is a book and those who do not travel, read only one page."

My kids have lived in Oman for more than 2 years now. The year 2016 has been the year when they started travelling around Oman with us. In travelling they got to experience a lot of places and things. They have learned to adjust in the different places they go to. This is what we want for them- to experience life and travel.

Kids' Swimming Adventures (November 2016 to April 2017)

My kids have fun whenever they go swimming. It's as if they don't want to stop swimming once they are in the water. In a place where water is scarce and there are no seas (where we live in), we have found places where they can swim like in swimming pools and in streams the locals call "wadis." Not only were my kids able to enjoy swimming but they have also enjoyed it together with their new-found friends.
