Kyokushin Karate

Gavel Club Involvement

It's another school year for my kids' involvement in Kinaadman Gavel Club.

Urban Container Gardening

I was amazed when my kids planted some seeds on egg shells and waited for them to grow.  Here's what they have done:

They planted seeds of watermelons, tomatoes and many more. 

Since they were quite interested with planting vegetables and fruits in our small yard, I decided to bring them to the Urban Gardening Seminar which was conducted at Negosyo Center Davao - Magsaysay on June 16, 2019.

Mr. Raymond Antiola from the Department of Agriculture gave a lecture on Urban Gardening at NC Magsaysay.

We got some free seeds of sunflower and vegetables such as ampalaya, okra, eggplant, sitaw, and many more. I hope that my kids will continue to be zealous in planting these seeds so we can have a vegetable garden here at home.

New School Year

My kids have finally completed their lessons and their portfolio. They were also able to accomplish the Portfolio Review last July 4, 2019. The school year 2018-2019 is over and we are starting a  new school year.

For this school year, we will start right away this month with activities. There are already weekly activities lined up such as the Art classes every Wednesday from 10 am to 12 nn, the Gavel culb meetings every Wednesday from 1 to 3 pm and the Kyokushin classes every Friday, Saturday and Sunday. On top of all these, there will be an Urban Container Gardening on July 16 and the Film Viewing event on July27. In addition, we will celebrate the Nutrition Month with meal preparations. There are many things to do and I hope that my kids will be able to accomplish all of them.
